Beloveth, If the story of our Lord, ended at His death, he would have been no more than a religious figure with a finite life span. The fact that Jesus rose from death demonstrated He has power over death, and only through Him can people have hope for eternal life. Easter to us, is a time of celebrating Jesus' victory over death, The Bible declares in : 1 Corinthians 2:8 ....None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
