Woman cuts off husband’s friend’s penis in his attempt to rape her

pnss...An Akwa-Ibom State indigene, identified as Mrs Okon Iniabasi, has reportedly cut off a man’s penis when he attempted to rape her.
The incident happened in the Ikono Local Government Area of the state.
The man, Linus Ibok, Punch reports, is her husband’s best friend.
Reports say Ibok had on Saturday, accompanied his friend, Iniabasi’s husband, a petty trader to board a vehicle to Aba, Abia State to purchase items for his shop in the village.
Afterwards, Ibok trailed Iniabasi to her farm where his manhood was cut off as he tried to have canal knowledge of her.
As the story goes, Iniabasi was said to have disclosed that she was not surprised when she saw Ibok in her farmland, as she thought he wanted to help her since he was almost like a member of their family but the shock came when Ibok confessed his undying love for her.
She reportedly rebuked him and asked him to leave the farm or she would report him to her husband. It was at that point Ibok grabbed her and attempted to rape her. Meanwhile, she allegedly let him undress and on noticing that, she used her machete to cut off his manhood.

After that, she ran to the village to inform others, who rushed to the farm to meet Ibok in the pool of his own blood with his manhood cut off.
He was rushed to an unnamed hospital where he is reportedly receiving treatment.

Boko Haram insurgency has claimed 90,000 officers so far – IG of Police Boko Haram insurgency has claimed 90,000 officers so far – IG of Police

Solomon Arase

The Inspector General of Police, IGP Solomon Arase has disclosed that an estimated 90,000 police officers lost their lives since Boko Haram insurgency started four years ago.
Arase made this known to journalists shortly after addressing men and officers at the police command headquarters in Sokoto, the Sokoto State capital.
Revealing that the police had a record of about 90,000 widows who lost their husbands since the insurgency began in the North-east, he stressed that the Nigeria Police Force had initiated a scheme to cater for the family of officers who lost their lives while on duty in the North-east.
The IGP disclosed that a scholarship scheme had been set up to take care of the children of slain officers.
“We have incorporated a scholarship scheme for the children of our officers who lost their lives in the North-east. This is to ensure that they continue with their studies so as to enable them achieve their potential,” he stated.
Arase noted that the total number of men and officers in the police force were currently inadequate to effectively protect the lives and property of the citizens.
In view of this, he posited that efforts were being made to recruit more personnel to further enhance the activities of the police in crime prevention and boosting security.
He stated that the police in conjunction with the United Nations Habitat were making arrangements to build 25,000 houses for officers, inspectors and rank and file across Nigeria.
The police boss said this was part of efforts to provide housing for men and officers of the police so that they would have a place to live after retirement.
While reiterating his commitment to the welfare of men and officers, Arase charged them to rededicate themselves to their duties by shunning corruption.
“It is true that our numeric strength is not sufficient but we are going to bring in more people. What I am emphasising is that every Nigerian should be security conscious, and that is the most important thing,” he said.
Arase further declared that President Muhammadu Buhari was determined to address the problems of the Nigeria Police Force.

Between Fashola and Amaechi Ministerial Cabinet

CONGRATULATIONS to all newly inaugurated ministers!!!

We look forward to seeing that GREAT CHANGE we voted for.

People keep saying former governor Babatunde Fashola stole the show with his appointment as the new minister of power, works and housing while former governor Amaechi Rotimi Chibuike is minister of transport.

Some of you may not know that Amaechi as Minister of transportation, has just been handed arguably the highest responsibility in the new government, as he going to supervise, re order and super intend over 10 Parastatals and agencies which employ over 30% of the entire Nigerian civil servants.
Just take a look at the highlight of the huge task and responsibility that await Hon. Minister Of Transportation, Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi as he takes over the ministry.

Water Ways
1. Nigerian Port Authority (NPA)

2. Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA

3 . National Clearing and Forwarding Agency (NCFA)

4. Nigeria Shippers Council (NSC)

5. Nigerian Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA)

6. Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC)

7 Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT)

Aviation:
1. Federal Airport Authority Of Nigerian (FAAN)

2. Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA)

3. Nigeria Air Space Management Agency(NASMA)

4. Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB)

5. Nigerian College Of Aviation And Technology (NCAT)

6. Nigeria Meteorological Agency (NMA)

Land Transportation
1. Nigeria Railway Corporation

2. All Federal Roads in Nigeria

So, I think we should also give accolade to Amaechi because, I think he has more work to do than Fashola.
In all the aforementioned agencies in this ministry, if Amaechi fails, it means the economy will be affected…
I believe you know what it means to have these agencies fail…the economy will fail.

Once again congrats to all the ministers!!!

American Girl Magazine Boycotted for Highlighting ‘Sins’

American Girl magazine is under fire from a controversial parenting group for running an article about an 11-year-old foster child with two dads.
One Million Moms has called for a boycott of American Girl products and its parent company, Mattel, warning parents to “be careful” not to expose their kids to the story to “avoid a premature conversation she is far too young to understand.” The group said the magazine should have “chosen another child to write about and remained neutral in the culture war.” It added, “American Girl is attempting to desensitize our youth by featuring a family with two dads,” then drew on the Bible: “Scripture says multiple times that homosexuality is wrong, and God will not tolerate this sinful nature. American Girl doesn’t highlight other sins in their magazine.”
American Girl magazine’s story, which appeared in the November/December 2015 issue, tells the story of Amaya Sheer, an 11-year-old from Maryland who is one of four black children the Sheer family has adopted. The article was written by an adult but is told through Amaya’s perspective, outlining how she and her brothers arrived at the Sheer family’s home as foster children with only a trash bag full of personal belongings. In the story, Amaya discusses her father, Rob Sheer, and his charity, Comfort Cases, an organization dedicated to providing backpacks to foster children filled with life’s daily necessities — from pajamas and toothbrushes to stuffed animals and blankets. The story, headlined “Forever Family,” also featured a photo of Amaya and her brothers with their fathers, Rob (“Daddy”) and Reese (“DaDa”).
Rob Sheer, once a foster child himself, says he wasn’t surprised by the outcry. “I don’t live in a plastic bubble. I am a gay man, and I have four African-American kids. I understand people out there are ugly,” he tells the Washington Post.
What “shocked” him, though? That a moms’ group is speaking out against his family. “I didn’t expect a group of moms to say we are sinners,” he said. “I look at a woman and see someone who has given so much love to bring a child into this world. … How could that same person look at these four children and say they don’t deserve that unconditional love?”
The Sheer family has received rude phone calls to their home, but also an outpouring of support, especially from their church congregation, they say. Wrote one commenter in an NBC article: “It is so sad that anyone who calls themselves a ‘Mom’ can look at happy children with loving parents — especially a child and family like this who are trying to help other children in need as Jesus himself would ask us to do — and only speak hate. This family is the face of love in the service of others.”
American Girl magazine is standing by the story. “Amaya’s story about her efforts to help kids in foster care is a perfect example of how one young girl is making a meaningful difference in the lives of others,” spokeswoman Julie Parks says. “Our singular goal is to encourage, inspire, and unite girls of all ages and backgrounds, and we love shining a spotlight on their amazing gifts and achievements.”
Amaya’s response to One Million Moms was much simpler: “This is none of your business.”
This isn’t the first time One Million Moms has stirred controversy. The group protested the hiring of Ellen DeGeneres as JCPenney’s spokeswoman due to her sexuality, Urban Outfitters for showing two women kissing in its catalog, and a Campbell Soup ad featuring two dads, among many others.

Buhari Sacks 17 Permanent Secretaries

Buhari
President Muhammadu Buhari seems to be driving his reforms very fast as reports have emerged that he has ordered the mass retirement of 17 Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Civil Service.
Although no reason has been given for the decision, a very close associate of the President told Channels Television on Tuesday afternoon that the retirement takes immediate effect.
This is coming barely 24 hours after the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) was fired and replaced by Assistant Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Magu.
Over the last months, the Permanent Secretaries had been holding several meetings with the President, an indication that they were giving the President their last briefs.
Analysts see this move as part of the President’s plans to shrink the ministries to cut overhead costs for his government.

Breast-feeding mom in Charlotte fends off home intruders

(CNN)A man has been charged in the home invasion and shooting of a North Carolina mom last week.
Semantha Bunce, 21, a combat medic in the National Guard, was in her Charlotte home breast-feeding her 4-month-old son in her bedroom when intruders barged in Tuesday, November 3, according to CNN affiliate WSOC.
As the intruders broke into the home and opened fire, Bunce fired back with her own weapon.
"I think it was a shock to the intruders just as much as it was to her," her husband, Paul Bunce, told the affiliate.
Her son was unharmed in the shooting, police said.
She remains in the Carolinas Medical Center recovering from injuries from at least two gunshot wounds.
Family members told WSOC that she has at least on more surgery ahead of her.
A friend has established a GoFundMe account to help with her impending expenses.
Semantha's husband told WSOC that his wife's National Guard training allowed her to protect herself and her son.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you for all the undying support," Semantha said on her Facebook page.
"It means the absolute world to me and my family to have your support during this time of tragedy," she continued.
